If your organisation meets the criteria of the program, you can send in your application via our application page. B1G1 Giving assesses each application based on the criteria as well as the suitability and uniqueness of the projects to ensure the right balance of projects in B1G1. We're currently actively accepting applications from charity organisations with high-impact project activities in North and South America, Europe and Oceania. The application form itself takes about 40 minutes to complete once you have the required information.
There is no fee to be part of the B1G1 Worthy Cause program, since B1G1's operation is fully funded by the Business Membership Program. B1G1 does not take any fee from your contribution — all funds are passed to you, excluding credit card and bank fees. In return, your responsibility is to submit periodic updates on your project activities, along with your audited accounts and annual report each year.
The application process typically takes around three months, though some applications may take longer depending on the nature and scope of the projects. After submitting, applications move through initial assessment, project review, financial review, and finally board approval. Once approved, the project listing process typically takes about one month or more — missing information can significantly delay this stage.
